I won. I won. I won!

OMG, I am truly so honored and grateful. This award was a process. It took months to get to the end result, and it was totally worth the wait. This award makes me feel seen and validated. This book was the book that my younger self needed, so it was the book that was in my heart.

This award is so important because it is offered to indie authors only. It gives us a much needed platform to be seen. There are so many books out there that are really GOOD, they just haven't had that push or recognition that they deserve. With that said, I definitely will check out the books of the other nominees and winners.

I will be updating my book cover to include the medallion of the TALA. Also, my podcast interview with The African Laureate Awards is next!

Thank you to the entire staff over at The African Laureate Awards.
